There are traditionally four eschatological views of end-time events. However, the two most widely believed in our day are polar extremes:
Preterist: the belief that end-time events prescribed in the Book of Daniel and Revelation have already been fulfilled in the first century. You might think this is absurd considering the Second Coming of the Lord has not happened yet, however, 60% and growing, of the Western Church’s young people are of this persuasion. It is a problem, and a big problem, primarily spawned by the unwillingness of the modern Western Church to teach on end times, primarily because the Day of the Lord is a day of judgment.
Premillennialism: the belief that Jesus will come back to earth after the great tribulation and will rule during a millennium of peace on earth, known as the Millennial Reign of Christ.
If we were to simply look at the natural flow of events in tandem with the time scale at face-value presented within the fall Feasts, with no imposed suppositional over-lay, we would see a sequential pattern spoken of by Daniel, Jesus and John the Revelator.
