His spoken and written Word is the very genome of all existence!
The Personal Name of God, which is written over 6,800 times in Scripture, pretty much tells it all! It is written as a tetragrammaton of the Hebrew letters Yod Hey Vav Hey which is translated in English, YHWH. In the history of language, these letters first were written as pictorial letters, which means Hand Behold Nail Behold – considering that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, I find this pictorial translation of His Name amazing! Later the Paleo Hebrew would pronounce His name Yah-Hu-Ah. The Kirite Jews pronounce it Yah-Ho-Vah, and modern secular Hebrew pronounces His Name as Yah-weh. However, the majority of Jews will not speak His Name and simply refer to Him as “The Name” (Ha Shem). So, what is the correct pronunciation of His Name? When pronounced with honor and affection from the heart!
His Name means the “Self Existent One, the Be-er (I Am that I Am) -- I Be that I Be!” All other existence is sourced back to His One Existence. He is the ultimate Reality! He creates from the resource of His own Existence. When we hear His spoken and written Word, He is allowing the composition and articulation of His very Presence to be encapsulated into words – this is extremely benevolent of Him for the sole purpose of us being able to grasp Him. The encapsulation of His Word reveals His thoughts, desires, intentions, plans, and will – what He loves and what He hates, His likes and dislikes – the anatomy of His very heart! He distills into words, which serve as containers of His very Presence! The benevolent gift of His Word is the conduit, gateway or passage from the natural realm into the spiritual realm.
Furthermore, inherent within His Word are patterns which illustrate His Ways, His Divine MO (mode of operation), what I refer to as His principle of origins. Once His Word springs forth from His Being, it creates and re-creates according to His code of order in both the spiritual and physical dimension. We can think of His spoken and written Word as the very genome of all existence! Once God has spoken, He does not violate or change His encoded order,
“For I am the LORD, I do not change…" Mal 3:6
The principle of origins is simply returning someone or something to its source – such as, sourcing creation to its Creator, sourcing the human cell to its DNA, sourcing an oak tree to an acorn or sourcing a choice of action to the intent and motive of heart.
As we approach to understand the Law in its full counsel of content, structure, patterns and type and shadows, let's not make the mistake of thinking its origin began in some distant antiquated age in earth’s history -- no, it is the Eternal Word of God! In the most basic principle of origins, prophetic revelation always begins in God Himself, which is revealed in the earth and returns to God in Heaven,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
God is Spirit and His Kingdom is spiritual. In our fallen state, we can not see, comprehend or perceive the spiritual realm of reality that governs all life that is existent within it. So, God describes this greater reality for us in natural terms, “this or that is like." Jesus said, The Kingdom of Heaven is like…” The Kingdom of God is a far greater reality than the tangible reality that we know in this earthly realm. There is a hierarchy in Heaven that begins with God’s Word,
…for You have magnified Your word above all Your Name. Psalm 138:2
The term, “truth is relative,” is based on both the historical and modern supposition in secular philosophy that truth cannot be known – that all truth is speculative. There is a current trend in post-modern Christendom that to say you know the truth is arrogant and proud, because no one can know the truth because it is relative and speculative. It is an intellectual superiority that shames those who actually believe the truth! This is a sly undermining of the validity and invitation to know God’s Word.
Silly humans, God has not called us to believe in what we don't know, but in what we can and do know! The fact of the matter is, that Truth is the absolute Substance of all reality – it is our perspective that is relative, and it is relative to where we are in relation to the Light of truth!
For example, pause for a moment and put your hand in front of your face and look at a wall across the room from you. From this perspective, your hand appears larger than the wall. But as you move your hand closer to wall, the wall becomes much, much larger (getting closer to its real and absolute physical measurement of size) and your hand becomes much, much smaller (getting closer to its real and absolute physical measurement of size). Our perspective of reality is based on our position and relationship to Truth Himself!
Remember, this very important FACT, God does not require us to have faith in what we cannot know, but in what we can know!
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
