Now unless you want to come up with a whole new story line and make the two olive trees and two lamp stands different groups, then we have a basic understanding of the identity of the two olive trees and two lampstands, but there is obviously a big glaring question that is most uncomfortable. If this be true, then why aren’t Christians looking and praying for the incoming confluence of the ages where God fulfills His end-times promises in ethnic Israel and us as the One New Man?
Scripture is replete with the end-time ethnic Jews being restored back in the Land of Israel while the era of the Age of the Gentiles is closing – somehow, we assumed “closing” meant the exit of the Gentiles. It is easy to come to that conclusion if it were not further revealed and our role as Gentiles being described.
We enter the climax of the ages where the mystery of godliness and the mystery of lawlessness will come to a head. We, as new man believers, being born again into the corporate One New Man – realize our finest hour as being God’s witnesses! It is precisely at this time when the Mystery of God, as mentioned in Revelation 10:4, 7, is completed!
Remember Ruth, our Gentile prophetic type and shadow of our end-time role? How that Ruth served Naomi as they journeyed back to Naomi’s homeland Israel and the embittered Naomi began to commune with her fellow Israelis. By virtue of God’s Providence, His then prophetic mystery of Christ of Boaz (Jewish Kingsman Redeemer, Jesus) married Ruth (a Gentile) to engraft her into the already existent family of God, Israel. By doing so, God saved both Naomi (Jew) and Ruth (Gentile) restoring their full and now shared inheritance. The best part of that story concerning our role in type and shadow imagery being given, is when the surrounding Israelis regard Ruth’s love for Naomi better than seven sons! That makes for great fellowship around Father’s table!
Beloved, we have been grafted in, adopted into the Israel of God, His Corporate One New Man! By in large this is not the Western Church’s view, we have in many cases departed from Israel and this Biblical narrative altogether. In fact, much of the Gentile Church history, the Age of the Gentiles, is littered with all kinds of dark moments of departing from the truth and application of Scripture. Some because of unintentional ignorance and then some, if not most of the major Biblical errors, have been an evil and calculated hijacking of the truths! By people? Inadvertently, yes, but primarily by the enemy moving through people to try and thwart or hinder God powerful movement, I call this, hijacked by replacement! God willing, by understanding how the enemy has done this in the past, we will adjust ourselves to be rightly aligned in the present as well as have a keener awareness!
Regardless of our views, God is moving us as His people into the confluence of the ages, whether if we realize it or not, and He will get us there if we abide in Him. Beloved, we are coming into a symphonic accord of end-time Scriptures, and it is good to know, that regardless of our personal views, God Himself has tied the entire validity of His Word and Name to the fate of Israel – will we?
And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, “Thus says the Lord: ‘If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season, then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers. As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me…Have you not considered what these people have spoken, saying, ‘The two families which the Lord has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they have despised My people, as if they should no more be a nation before them.
“Thus says the Lord: ‘If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth, then I will cast away the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will cause their captives to return, and will have mercy on them.’ Jerm 33:19-26
