From the beginning, we were instructed to navigate by the stars,
Then God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons (appointed times), and for days and years. Gen 1:14
Throughout the Scripture, one of the signs given that would denote the end-times was a solar and lunar eclipse. In a solar eclipse, the sun turns black. In a lunar eclipse the moon turns red, which is known as a blood moon because the moon often takes on a red cast during an eclipse.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. Joel 2:31
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. Acts 2:20
[ Sixth Seal: Cosmic Disturbances ] I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. Rev. 6:12
In 2008, Pastor Mark Blitz, a Messianic Jew, revealed his research on the solar and lunar eclipses lining up with the Feasts of the Lord. He made a very compelling point that the only time in this century when four consecutive full lunar eclipses, known as a tetrad, will coincide with either Passover or the Feast of Tabernacles is in the years 2014-2015.
In 2015 there will be two solar eclipses, again on Passover and Feast of Tabernacles – amazing! The two times this has happened in recent history is during 1948-50, when Israel was reborn and 1967, when Jerusalem became an undivided Jewish city again! There were none that coincided with the Feast Days from the 1500’s through the 1800s.
