One Narrative: Old and New

Hopefully, we can now understand the relevance of the collective Body of Scripture and it’s profound genesis of our existence! God’s Word does not begin on earth for lateral leverage, but it begins from Him in Heaven as a vertical revelation for vertical leverage! 

Hopefully, we can see the origins of deeper truths and how they relate to our present struggle? The Old and New Testament are ONE narrative, as though the Old Testament is the reel of a film and Jesus is the Light that shines through presenting His greater, awe inspiring Heavenly Kingdom!

Beloved, we have received a Kingdom that is far beyond this present world and we have been authorized as His witnesses, commissioned to both tell of and to administrate His Kingdom here. My hope is that we can realize the gateway of His Word to see and comprehend truths in the Light of His Kingdom in which we exist. My prayer is that we, as New Testament believers, fully embrace and laud the relevance of the entirety of Scripture – every jot and every tittle!

Then He said to them, “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old." Matt 13:52

Moving forward, the focus of this study is to have a better understanding of our coming Bridegroom and the true identity of His Bride, the Bride of Christ – both Jew and Gentile. God chose to make known the progressive revelation of salvation in marital terms – which is amazing in and of itself! From Genesis to Malachi, up through Revelation, our interpretative quest will be to see and understand, through the collective Body of Scripture, the Lord’s pristine and three dimensional wedding plans!

As a review and set up for the next section, let’s peek in on creation and observe The Lord's set-up for yet greater things to come!
