Jihad

You might be wondering why Islam has not been addressed, thinking there is a gapping hole of the enemy’s global strategy being presented – and you would be right! So lets address the elephant in the room.

When communicating about the peoples of the Middle East, one needs to use extreme discipline because God has made promises to the sons of Ishmael and Esau as well as other people groups, such as the Egyptians and Assyrians. Many of those promises have been and will be fulfilled with their ultimate good in the end – they also have a place in God’s end-time plan.  We need to understand their place through the lens of prophecy, rightly dividing the Word of Truth, so that our words and comments are in accord with Scripture. 

Understanding the formation and religious structure of Islam deserves a separate teaching, but to summarize the over-all picture, Islam is based on six pillars of faith, five being renditions from the Judeo-Christian faith and the sixth being the interpretations of Mohammed. 

The two different branches of Islam, Sunnis (followers of Mohammed’s advisor) and Shiites (followers of Mohammed’s cousin) disagree in the interpretation about the method of how to implement Jihad, both both believe in Jihad. Jihad means to resist the secular and unholy worldview that would hinder the return of Messiah. Once again, the messianic concept is hijacked by a religious and governmental movement that enforces and justifies whatever power-play being made amongst the nations.

Islam is a religious and governmental movement that has hijacked the promises rightfully due these people groups as written in the Bible. Furthermore, we need to know God intends to fulfill His promises to them -- once free from the lie!  This is very similar to the hijacking of Christendom by Constantine's Roman Church. There are many Muslims, who are God-fearing, monotheistic believers, coming to faith in Messiah, just as there have been (and are) true believers throughout the history of the Catholic Church – regardless of the external corruption!

Enough said. The question is how will the enemy use these two very different streams (Islam and Universalism) as a confluence against the elect, the Jewish and Christian faithful, the Israel of God.

We should expect the Good Cop Bad Cop strategy! The Good Cop – Bad Cop strategy is a strategy used by law enforcement, and sometimes in negotiations, to get undisclosed information. The Bad Cop acts very intimidating and forceful to the suspect being questioned and the Good Cop acts very sympathetic and gentle. The strategy is for the suspect to trust and think that the Good Cop has the suspects best interest at heart, eroding any defenses the suspect might have. Once comfortable the suspect will reveal undisclosed information.

This same technique is used to gain buy-in on concepts or to manipulate outcomes. The Bad Cop (or group) will intimidate an individual or community and the Good Cop will rally or welcome those poor individual or community victims into their cause for protection. This is the manipulative evil inversion of this strategy.

It is an effective strategy, and we should expect various tactical approaches. This is happening right now on a large scale. For an example, the "bad cop guys" of evil forces, such as  Al Qaeda, ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, just to name a fewOr even entire nations, such as Iran, Syria, Yemen, North Korea, or entire nations etc, all violent thugs to intimidate entire religious and national populations. Their primary targets are Jews and Christians and they are moving at rapid pace vowing extermination of all infidels, calling the Big Satan (America) and the Little Satan (Israel). Much like the liberal Universalists who think Israel and Christians are hindering world progress!

This is not a secret movement, but organized criminals who have publicly published their manifestos to the world of their evil intentions. While there are nations that presently oppose their evil strategies, there are factions in the UN that have continually turned a blind-eye to these terror sponsored criminal activities. Imagine that! And the struggle continues, the righteous fighting against such bias and at rapid-fire speed, vetoes their foolishness. 

In tandem, nations such as Russia, China, India, etc, who want to jump in on the fight for different reason; hoping to exploit the conflict to secure their economic and political prominence in the world. Alllllll of this is written in Scriptures and is available for all who want to know what God thinks about the matter and what He plans to do about it!

Satan will use the Bad Cop, through acts of terror and violence, to force religious and national alliances (who would not normally yield their sovereign powers) into Universalism, his Good Cop, to trap and hijack the nations for his end-time plan of global worship. In fact, this will be the primary set up for the enemy’s grand appearance as the saving messiah to make a global intervention offering peace for the conflict that he secretly created.

The fact of the matter is, the world empires are ALL present in the end-time drama, we need to understand all the players. More on this in the end-time section.
