Noah's Ark, A Type 

Just as Noah’s Ark ascended during the destruction of the flood, so will the Body of Christ, believing Jews and Gentiles, will be raised when God’s wrath is poured out upon the earth. There is a very interesting timeline spoken of by the Lord to Noah,

And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” Gen 6:3

A tactical summary of Biblical timing will be shared in Section Five, but for a quick reference point of how this is relevant to us today, this particular count of 120 is believed to be the predetermined timeline of Man’s appointed time in his present state upon the earth. 

The completion of a cycle of years in Scripture is 50 years; 7 (completion) x 7 (completion) = 49 (completion), entering the 50th year as the transcended state of that which has been completed and built. This is the very heart of the Year of Jubilee’s transcendence. In fact, fifty means to transcend. Note the timeline below as a measurement to locate where we are in time,

But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Matt 24:37-39

I think we would be wise to take Jesus at His Word, not just that there will be "business as usual" and the profound distraction upon the peoples of the world, but also the level of demonic infestation into the human soul. Though it is not a pleasant thought, it does explain the gross appetite towards darkness in our world today.

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. Isaiah 60:2

Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. Dan 12:10
